About The Job

The candidate will ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and compliance of all fleet activities to support the manufacturing and distribution processes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the company’s fleet to ensure timely and efficient transportation of materials and products.
Schedule and manage regular vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime.
Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle usage, and route efficiency to control costs.
Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with regulatory requirements, including licensing, permits, and insurance.
Supervise and coordinate activities of drivers, including performance, training, and adherence to company policies.
Implement and enforce fleet safety policies and procedures to reduce accidents and risks.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, mileage, and driver logs.
Use fleet management software and GPS tracking systems to monitor and optimize fleet operations.
Prepare reports on fleet performance, operational costs, and vehicle utilization for management review.
Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency, reduce costs, and support operational goals.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in fleet management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, transport regulations, and routing.
Proficiency in fleet management systems and GPS tracking tools.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and knowledge of road safety laws.
Willing to relocate
