1. Job Purpose
The Driver Manager is responsible for overseeing driver performance, safety standards, and operational compliance within Alistair Group’s logistics fleet. The role ensures efficient transit operations, strict adherence to company SOPs and regulatory requirements, and the effective management of driver teams to support seamless cross-border freight solutions.
2. Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Experience & Skills
-
At least 2 years of proven work experience in logistics managing a team.

Previous experience as a truck driver will be an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of driver compliance, transit tracking, and cross-border transport regulations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and performance management skills.
3. Key Responsibilities
A. Driver Performance & KPI Management

Monitor and set driver KPIs, including transit times, speed violations, and convoy management.

Implement effective driver performance monitoring, tracking systems, and operational metrics.

Drive retention initiatives and support ongoing driver engagement and welfare.
B. Compliance & Documentation

Manage driver profiles and ensure all documentation complies with company SOPs, RTSA regulations, and cross-border requirements.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date driver records and operational files.

Ensure drivers strictly adhere to statutory requirements and international road transport guidelines.
C. Safety & Training Supervision

Uphold and enforce high-level safety standards across all driving operations.

Supervise driver behavior on and off the road, ensuring alignment with company standards.

Coordinate and ensure driver training programs meet organizational safety and quality benchmarks.
D. Team Leadership & Discipline

Provide daily supervision and operational guidance to the driver workforce.

Enforce driver discipline and corrective action procedures where necessary.

Align driver activities with core company behaviors: Honesty, Customer Focus, Continual Improvement, Humility, and Safety.
