Position Overview

Joining the CCBRT Optical Production & Sales Team, the Sales Officer serves as the front-line ambassador for CCBRT’s optical products and services. You will receive customers, guide them in selecting appropriate frames and lenses, process orders, manage daily cash collections, assist with insurance pre-authorizations, and support overall inventory and showroom management.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Dispensing: Receive clients, consult on frame and lens options, and dispense the correct prescription spectacles.

• Order & Inventory Processing: Prepare sales orders and invoices, deliver job orders to the optical production unit, update daily records in the ERP software, and perform inventory stock reconciliations.

• Financial & Insurance Operations: Handle cash transactions, generate receipts, prepare daily cash collection reports, handover cash to finance, and submit pre-authorization claims to health insurance partners.

• Client Communication: Keep customers updated regarding order readiness, expected delivery schedules, or delays.

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency and quality of service.

Candidate Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.:

• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on sales and marketing experience (experience in optical sales, healthcare, or retail is advantageous).

• Technical Skills: Computer literacy with practical experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or point-of-sale software.

• Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swahili.

• Key Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric mindset, flexibility, attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach.
