Reporting to: Business Development Manage

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Sales Executive shall be responsible for meeting targets set by the Business
  • Development Manager during the development of the Business and Marketing plans in achieving the company business development objectives.
  • Generate Sales leads and proactively initiate and engage sales calls to new business.
  • Assist in designing and executing strategic sales plans following new business.
  • Deliver superior client and customer service with unmatched professionalism in written and verbal communications.
  • Open business development dialogues with strategic customers with a particular interest to build dealership strategic accounts.
  • Identify key corporate and developing upcountry markets and manage upcountry strategic dealership relationships.
  • Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers.
  • Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
  • Learn and communicate effectively to clients on product specifications and business communications in defending and creating brand awareness.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a sales and marketing executive on FMCGs; a good experience in tyres business, sales of cars spare parts and automotive products for not less than 3 years in Tanzania.
  • Knowledge of modern marketing techniques.
  • High-level communication and networking skills.
  • A passion for sales.
  • Understanding of commercial trends and marketing strategies.
  • Good experience on the basic computer applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong client relationship management and development aptitude with a desire to make a contribution to a growing organization.
  • Must be willing to be posted to any work location nationwide, including upcountry regions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prepare Sales and Marketing reports and high ability of making business presentations.
  • Ability to recommend on dealer collections.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
