List of Students Awarded the ‘Samia Scholarship’ for 2026/2027

The Samia Scholarship is a prestigious, government-funded educational support program in Tanzania named in honor of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Samia Scholarship Beneficiaries are the high-achieving students who have been awarded full financial coverage for their higher education under this scheme.

Ministry of Education Announces 2026/2027 Samia Scholarship Beneficiaries

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has published the official list of 1,000 students selected for the Samia Scholarship Program for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The prestigious scholarship is granted to top scorers in science combinations from the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) administered by NECTA.

Selected students will have their undergraduate studies fully funded in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine (STEM). The selection and funding framework adheres strictly to the guidelines set by the Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (HESLB).
