Job Purpose
The Watchman is responsible for safeguarding company property from damage or theft within the assigned area of service.
Duties and Accountabilities:
Guards company properties from damage or theft within assigned territory.
Ensures a proper handover of the assigned guard post before and after duty
Ensures all safety and security procedures are adhered to by all employees and visitors entering the guard post
Ensures the guard post does not remain unattended
Reports any damage or theft of company property that has happened within the guard post to the supervisor immediately
Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor
Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).
Minimum Requirements:
Primary Education as a minimum requirement
Must have gone through JATZ/TPDF/JKT training
1-2 years of experience in a similar function
Good knowledge of security practices
Self-disciplined
Terms of Service: The successful candidates will be engaged on a permanent contract.
