Position Overview
Natural Selection Mining Limited is recruiting a Tanzanian graduate to join its HR & Administration Department as an HR Assistant – Labour Relations, Government Liaison and Training. This role offers hands-on exposure to employee relations, compliance with Tanzanian labour laws, regulatory inspections, and workforce training initiatives, with structured opportunities to learn how to manage labour relations independently.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Labour Relations & Disciplinary Management:

Support the management of employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.

Maintain precise records of disciplinary actions, dispute outcomes, and employee files.

Assist in resolving workplace conflicts while developing the skills to handle industrial relations matters autonomously.

Government Liaison & Regulatory Compliance:

Assist with coordinating routine government inspections and statutory compliance reporting.

Support administrative communications with relevant government authorities and labour regulatory bodies.

Training & Staff Development:

Organize, schedule, and track employee training programs and professional development sessions.

Maintain up-to-date training records, attendance logs, and evaluation reports.

General Requirements (Graduate Entry Level)

Nationality: Must be a Tanzanian national.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Law, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Open to recent graduates. Full-time work experience is not required (relevant internship experience is an advantage).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Communication: Good spoken and written English skills.

Key Competencies: Strong learning agility, high attention to detail, keen interest in Tanzanian labour law, and a dedication to building a long-term career in HR or administration.

Added Advantages: Exposure to the mining industry or proficiency in the Chinese language (not required).
