Applications are hereby invited from suitable, qualified and experienced Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions at the College of Business Education (CBE).

The College of Business Education was established by Act of Parliament, Act No. 315 R.E of 2002. It is a Public Higher Learning Institution which provide, Teaching, Research and Consultancy in the fields of Accountancy, Procurement & Supplies, Marketing Management, Metrology and Standardization, ICT and other business-related disciplines.

The College obtained permit to recruit employees for the following positions on ONE-year employment contract. To enhance effective teaching and learning, research and provision of public services, the College invites applications from suitable qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions:

Library Assistant II – 3 posts

Duties and responsibilities

• To undergo on the job training on library duties;
• To perform library clerical duties;
• Registration of readers;
• To issue of books to readers;
• To receive books from readers;
• To handle of simple enquiries from readers;
• Bibliographical searching; and
  viii. To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Direct entry qualifications

Holder of Certificate in one of the following fields; Library and Information Studies or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Salary scale
PGSS 3.1
