Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records for our travel agency and air ticketing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining the general ledger and preparing monthly financial reports.

• Processing invoices, payments, and payroll accurately and timely.

• Conducting regular audits of financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Assisting in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial processes align with operational needs.

• Managing financial discrepancies and resolving any issues that arise.

• Preparing BSP sales reporting and reconciling settlements with IATA.

• Preparing tax returns and ensuring timely payments to regulatory authorities.

• Keeping abreast of financial regulations and best practices in the industry.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

• IATA certification (Required).

• Minimum of 2 years of air ticketing or airline accounting experience (Required).

• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and excellent attention to detail.

• Experience with GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) and BSP settlement work (Preferred).
