JOB ANNOUNCEMENT!

TANLIGHT INTERTRADE INVESTMENT is a company based in Dar es Salaam dealing with Logistics, Transportation, Construction and Supplies of Building Materials and Furniture Works.

Currently we are looking for well prepared motivated and experienced people for the following position:

1. JOB TITLE: TRUCK DRIVERS/ DEREVA (5 POSTS)

Qualifications

• Must be a Tanzanian citizen of experience not less than 5 years in driving semi trailers, pulleying trucks, tippers.
• Must Posses valid Class E driving License.
• Clean driving record and sound knowledge of road regulations.
• Must be above 25 years old.
• Must possess a form IV Secondary Certificate and/or above.
• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Duties

• To transport Building Materials such as sand, aggregates, timber and other building materials to different allocated sites with in Dar es Salaam and Coast Region.
• To transport Transit Goods to different SADC Countries such as Malawi, Zambia and Congo.

2. JOB TITLE: CARPENTER/ FUNDI SELEMALA (2 POSTS)

Qualifications

• Must be a Tanzanian citizen of experience not less than 5 years.
• Must be live be familiar in using different types of furniture machines and in designing different types of furniture such as doors, tables, windows and other furniture.
• Must have worked from a reputable recognized company.
• Must be above 18 years.
• Must be Creative.
• Must be living with in Dar es Salaam.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.

Duties

• To design and make different furniture such doors, cupboards, tables, beds and chairs.

3. JOB TITLE: LOGISTIC OFFICER/MECHANICAL OFFICER (2 POSTS)

Qualifications

• Must have a diploma in logistics / mechanical engineering from a reputable institution.
• Must be living with in Dar es Salaam.
• Must have an experience of at least 1 year in similar work.
• Must be able to deal with troublesome drivers.

Duties

• To plan, monitor and control different assigned logistic routes.
• To always check maintenance of the vehicle.
• To carry annual logistics inventory.
• Ensure goods delivery timeline is met and route stays within budget.
• To sometimes travel with transit good vehicles for monitoring purposes to SADC Countries such as Malawi, Zambia and Congo.

4. CAR WASHERS (2 POSTS)

Qualifications

• Experienced in Car Washing works.
• Must be familiar with water pressure, hoover machines and other car washing machines and chemical for washing.
• Must have customer service skills
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Must live within Dar es Salaam.

5. YARD CLEANERS/ WAFANYA USAFI (3 POSTS)

Qualifications

• Must be a citizen of Tanzania.
• Must be hardworking, punctual and fast.
• Must be living with in Dar- es- Salaam.

Duties

• To make sure that the Yard Premises is clean throughout at all times.
