St.Jude’s School is pleased to announce the vacancy of a cleaner for suitably qualified Tanzanians.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare Tea/porridge, fruits and lunch for students and staff such as vegetables, rice, beans, meat and other foods according to the recommended meal schedule.
• Unload food into containers i.e. bowls, buckets, trays and hand over to the students’ table leaders.
• Inform the teacher or staff on duty if students have left the classroom or utensils dirty.
• Keep utensils and other equipment used in the kitchen in good and clean condition at all times. Ensure the safety and security of students who help in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with the head chef/assistant to ensure that no unauthorized person or student enters the kitchen.

Applicant Qualifications

• The applicant should be able to maintain the environment well including using lawn mowers
• The applicant should have experience in maintaining the environment (Gardens, Flowers as well as collecting and separating waste)
• The applicant should live in an environment close to St Jude’s school
• The applicant should be a Tanzanian not less than 28 years old
• The applicant should have the skills to entertain people and follow work procedures.
