Project Manager – Hotel Construction & Fit-Out at Raha Reserve Zanzibar

Employment: Full-time, immediate start, through opening in Q1 2027 with possible extension
Salary: open foe negotiations plus accommodation and transport

Raha Reserve Zanzibar, a luxury resort joining IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Vignette Collection, seeks a hands-on Project Manager to lead the remaining construction, fit-out and opening-readiness works across 35 villas and public areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractors, consultants and site teams against an agreed completion programme
• Resolve material shortages, drawing queries and approval delays
• Oversee quality, budgets, progress reporting, snagging and handover
• Coordinate furniture installation, building services and external works
• Manage readiness against international brand standards and pre-opening inspection requirements

Requirements

• At least seven years’ relevant experience, including hotel or resort project delivery
• Experience delivering against international hotel brand standards and pre-opening inspections
• Strong knowledge of finishing works and contractor management
• Ability to interpret drawings and manage programmes and budgets
• Fluent English; Swahili an advantage
• Available to work on site in Makunduchi
• Relevant construction, engineering or project-management qualification
