Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate and repair metal parts, structures, and machinery components
- Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc, etc.) to join or build metal assemblies with clean, strong welds
- Cut, shape, and prepare metal using grinders, torches, and other tools
- Inspect welds for quality and structural integrity; test output to ensure it meets specifications
- Maintain welding equipment and work area safety; support factory repairs and custom fabrication needs
Requirements
- Vocational certificate or trade qualification in welding/fabrication
- 2–5+ years of experience in industrial welding, preferably in manufacturing or heavy equipment
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes and the ability to read technical drawings
- Attention to detail, steady hand, and commitment to safety standards
- Basic English skills preferred; physically fit for standing, lifting, and working in factory conditions
