Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales to join our team. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, understanding their energy needs, recommending suitable solar solutions, and closing sales  while ensuring excellent customer service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential customers (homes, SMEs, institutions, NGOs and light industries)
  • Advise clients on suitable solar systems, configurations and designs
  • Achieve monthly sales targets for solar systems and products
  • Provide after-sales support and system handover
  • Maintain accurate sales records and client follow-ups
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  •  Perform cost benefit and needs analysis of  potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  •  Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Qualifications

  •  Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, marketing and public relation or a related field
  •  At least 1–3 years experience in solar product sales or solar system installations is an added advantage
  •  Strong technical knowledge of solar components like panels, inverters, and batteries
  •  Good communication and presentation skills in English and Swahili
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office,Excel , etc)
