Intern Position: SBC Intern

Location of assignment: Dar es Salaam

Start Date of assignment: 22nd April 2024

End Date of assignment: 30th September 2024

Required Qualification:

Recently graduate specifical from a Medical school

Project details: Cross Cutting across all projects within Tanzania Communications and Development Center (TCDC)

Scope of work:

• Assist in the development of evidence-based social and behavior change strategies across projects.
• Work with program team to integrate SBC into service delivery programming to improve health outcomes
• Support the planning, organization and rolling out of community level SBC activities across projects
• Support implementation and monitoring of community level SBC activities in collaboration with project team, key government partners and implementation partners.
• Assist to SBC Advisors to coordinate and train TCDC field staff and other key stakeholders to implement (roll out) SBC interventions
• Support the development of quarter reports i.e., monthly, quarterly and annual reports to support implementation of project activities.
• Work with MEL team to monitor, assess and document effectiveness (quality/impact) of SBC interventions across projects
• Assist to document success stories to be publicized in monthly, quarterly and annual reports, social media and other social media platform
• Assist to documenting project experiences, best practices, success stories and preparing abstracts and articles for publication.
• Work with program team to coordinate TCDC participation and visibility in international and national platforms such as summits and conferences
