Secondary Education for Girls Advancement (SEGA) is a non-profit organization based in the Mkundi area, Morogoro Municipality. SEGA is registered in Tanzania mainland with registration No. 00NG/R2/0000232.
The organization’s mission is to educate and equip bright Tanzanian girls with academic, leadership, and business skills to unlock their talents and achieve their full potential, with a particular focus on vulnerable girls.

- Msichana wa Kisasa Community Outreach Program
Position Summary:
The School Counsellor provides emotional, social, behavioral, and academic support to students, ensuring their well-being, safety, and holistic development. The Counsellor delivers counselling services, identifies students at risk, and collaborates with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success. The Counsellor ensures quality guidance, documentation, and alignment with school programs such as life skills, discipline, safeguarding, and academic support.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, Education, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Formal training in counselling and relevant professional certification, where applicable.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience working with children or adolescents in a school or similar setting. iv. Age: preferably 35–40 years.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English. vii. Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics.
- Capacity to provide emotional, behavioral, and academic support to students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school administration.
