Tumsifu Construction Limited is a local registered company based in Dar es Salaam, mainly dealing with civil engineering and road works.

Role Description

• This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quantity Surveyor.
• The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing costs and contracts related to construction projects.
• Their responsibilities include estimating costs, preparing bids, negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and tracking project progress. Although based in Dar es Salaam City, remote work is also acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or a similar role.
•  Exceptional knowledge of construction materials methods, and legal regulations.
• Clear understanding of FIDIC and EAMS Contracts and Methods of Measurement.
• Registration with Quantity Surveying Bodies.
• Ability to measure through AutoCAD, CostX, Scaled and Unscaled Drawings.
• Ability to prepare Bill of Quantities, Detailed Claim
• Applications and Review Bill of Quantities.
•  Great analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Excellent knowledge of mathematics.
• Flexibility to stay out of Station.
