Role Overview & Key Responsibilities

The Operations & Business Analytics Manager oversees daily business intelligence, transaction pattern analysis, back-office retail partner administration, and product enhancement execution for Airtel Money. This role bridges analytical data processing with strategic execution, fraud risk management, and cross-functional project management.

• Business Intelligence & Data Management: Analyze day-to-day transaction patterns, revenue metrics, and customer usage data; maintain vital Airtel Money data custody and deliver strategic insights to stakeholders.

• Performance Monitoring & Strategy Execution: Deep-dive into financial statements, P&L metrics, and KPI trends to support strategy development, promotional planning, and cross-segment project rollouts.

• Retail & Business Partner Operations: Develop and maintain back-office administrative routines, manage retail trade partner documentation, track performance, and administer commissions/incentive payouts on schedule.

• Product Development & UAT: Define specification documents for mobile commerce feature updates, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and partner with technical support teams for seamless deployment.

• Fraud & Risk Mitigation: Conduct ongoing analysis to identify and plug operational loopholes, reducing system fraud exposure across retail and partner channels.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related commercial discipline.

• Experience & Technical Expertise:

  • Demonstrated track record managing large-scale databases with advanced data interpretation capabilities.

  • Solid mastery of accounting functional areas, P&L statements, and financial modeling.

  • Strong foundation in Project & Program Management across multi-tiered corporate structures.

• Core Competencies: Data-driven problem-solving, structured team leadership, strict business ethics, and excellent internal/external networking skills.
