King Casino is seeking experienced, disciplined, and highly observant individuals to join its growing team as Casino Security Officers. Successful candidates will play an important role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and company property.

This position requires professionalism, integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Casino Security Officer will be responsible for the following duties:

• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security of the premises.
• Patrol casino premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, including equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent prohibited persons and items from entering restricted areas.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Respond to emergencies, including medical issues, fire incidents, and security threats, and contact emergency responders when necessary.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers, employees, and visitors.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Conduct regular security checks and inspections according to established schedules.
• Assist in crowd control during events and manage access to restricted areas.

Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven work experience in security or a relevant position is an added advantage.
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocols.
• Good surveillance skills and strong attention to detail.
• Physical stamina, good health, and strength.
• Ability to communicate in both Swahili and English.

Additional Qualifications

The following qualifications will be an added advantage:

• Security Guard certification or JKT training.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
