Job Title: Intern Export Billing Officer

Experience: At least 6 months internship experience in accounting and finance roles

Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting and finance or related field

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare Creditors invoices
• Allocate creditors invoices to respective files and BOS system
• Prepare costing sheets for billing
• Upload bills and invoices due for payment
• Match invoices against shipping file for correct billing
• Opening physical files
• Liaise with export controllers for proper files invoicing 
• Follow up emails and attend invoice queries from customers
• Open accounts with new suppliers and load the new supplier on system.
• File all credit application forms.
• Send supplier verification documents to suppliers and ensure that they are completed and returned.
• Update supplier list with information obtained from supplier verification documents.
• Check the accuracy of information of supplier statements.
• Collate documents according to supplier statements.
• Prepare reconciliations denoting credit requests, queries and amounts to be paid within department deadlines.
• Prepare reports on export bills and invoices
• Check invoices for legislative compliance – company name, vat number
• Match quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes
