About the Company

Tanganyika Blue is pioneering the first commercial Native Species Aquaculture farm on Lake Tanganyika. Moving its operations to Kimbwela, Kigoma, the company focuses on sustainable aquaculture, food security, and community empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration & Payroll

• Manage day-to-day HR tasks: tracking staff attendance, sick leave, advances, loans, and training records.

• Prepare and process end-of-month payroll inputs.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date staff records and oversee the daily workflow of the HR department.

Performance & Employee Relations

• Implement and coordinate the company’s staff appraisal and performance review system.

• Handle employee relations, including disciplinary meetings, complaints, investigations, and terminations according to policy.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure strict compliance with Tanzanian labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.

• Lead monthly workplace health and safety meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Skills: Excellent computer skills (MS Office) and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.

• Languages: Professional fluency in both English and Swahili (written and spoken).

• Traits: Self-driven, detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and an awareness of workplace safety protocols.
