Job Overview

Goodwill (Tanzania) Ceramics Co., Ltd is seeking experienced Drivers for trucks, excavators, and light vehicles. The position involves transporting staff, ceramic products, and raw materials safely across operating sites, maintaining vehicle documentation and cleanliness, and handling local deliveries and occasional long-distance travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport company personnel, finished products, and raw materials safely to designated locations (Kusafirisha wafanyakazi, bidhaa, na malighafi).

• Clean vehicles routinely before and after daily operational use (Kusafisha gari kabla na baada ya matumizi ya kila siku).

• Maintain accurate logbooks and records of vehicle usage, mileage, and maintenance schedules (Kuweka kumbukumbu nzuri za matumizi ya gari).

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, tracking fluid levels, tire conditions, and document validity (Kukagua mara kwa mara hali ya gari na nyaraka zake).

• Execute deliveries and logistics routes efficiently across Dar es Salaam and upcountry regions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience handling heavy trucks, excavators, or light commercial vehicles (Uzoefu wa kuendesha gari usiopungua miaka 3).

• Valid Tanzanian driving license with class endorsements corresponding to heavy trucks or industrial machinery; holding a valid LATRA license is strongly preferred (Leseni halali ya kuendesha gari husika).

• Strong familiarity with road networks, routes, and commercial/retail supply centers in Dar es Salaam (Kujua vyema barabara na maeneo ya Dar es Salaam).

• For light vehicle drivers: Full operational proficiency in spoken and written English (Uwezo wa kuongea na kuandika Kiingereza fasaha).

• Strict adherence to traffic safety regulations and internal corporate policies (Kufuata kanuni na taratibu za kampuni).

• Flexibility and willingness to undertake long-distance or irregular travel assignments (Kukubaliana na safari za kibiashara za mbali/muda mrefu).
