DOZER OPERATOR (BULLDOZER OPERATOR) – 6 Positions

Hakadosh Company Limited, on behalf of our client, is seeking qualified and experienced Dozer Operators to support land development and agricultural infrastructure preparations, The  successful candidates will be responsible for operating bulldozers safely and efficiently to support land clearing, site preparation, earthmoving, levelling and other estate development activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate bulldozers safely and efficiently for land clearing, earthmoving and site preparation activities.
• Perform land levelling, grading, soil stripping, pushing and spreading operations.
• Clear vegetation, bushes, tree stumps and other obstacles as instructed.
• Support construction and preparation of farm roads, drainage channels, embankments and irrigation infrastructure.
• Ensure proper handling and operation of bulldozer blades, tracks and other attachments.
• Conduct daily pre-operation and post-operation inspections of the equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical faults, breakdowns or safety concerns.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance, including checking engine oil, coolant, hydraulic systems and track conditions.
• Maintain daily records of operating hours, fuel consumption and work completed.
• Follow work schedules, supervisor instructions and occupational health and safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Form IV Certificate of Secondary Education.
• Valid and appropriate heavy equipment operating licence/certification, as applicable under Tanzanian regulations.
• Proven experience operating bulldozers in construction, mining, land development or large-scale agricultural projects.
• Good knowledge of earthmoving, land clearing, grading and levelling operations.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and equipment maintenance skills.
• Ability to identify equipment faults and follow safety procedures.
• Experience in large-scale agricultural or sugarcane estate development projects will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work in a field environment and under minimal supervision.
