About The Job

To ensure the availability, accuracy, integrity, and effective use of data to support business decision-making, regulatory reporting, and performance monitoring. The role is responsible for transforming raw data from Member Financial Institutions into meaningful insights through analysis, validation, reporting, and visualization, while ensuring data readiness for processing within the Silverblade System

Responsibilities

• Performing Data Quality Analysis, Identifying major trends, Segregation and Classification of data
• Interpreting data from Member Financial Institutions, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide reports
• Procuring for more Data to our repository.
• Ensuring Stage ready for data processing into the Silverblade System
• Administering and Managing the Data Validation and Conversation Tools
• Compilation of reports based on Analysis, keeping in mind the end user’s requirements
• Presentation of findings in the form of graphs, tables, charts and multimedia presentations
• Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
• Keeping current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements

• Having timely data analysis, data reporting to various stakeholders & data delivery follow-ups.
• Any other tasks may be communicated from time to time by your Line Manager/General Manager.
• Data Submission Training for Data Providers
• Ensuring data submission training is organized once each quarter. Feedback and training materials are recorded and stored.
• Reporting on Data Submission on Data Submission and Processing
• A daily report will be produced.
• A monthly report will be produced on the 1st of every new month.
• The annual report will be produced on the last working day of January.
• The half yearly report will be produced on the 5th of every new month.
• Bank of Tanzania Monthly reports to be completed latest by 10th of each month

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analysis, reporting, data quality management, and dashboard development
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Project Management, IT, or Computer Science from a recognized university
• Strong skills in SQL, data analysis, and statistical interpretation
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and MS Excel for data visualization and reporting
• Experience in financial/banking data analysis and regulatory or management reporting
