So They Can Tanzania invites sealed tenders from interested individuals and organizations to purchase a used vehicle on an “As-Is, Where-Is” basis.

Terms and Conditions of Sale

“As-Is, Where-Is” Basis: The vehicle is sold based on its current physical and mechanical condition. So They Can Tanzania provides no warranty, whether express or implied, regarding fitness for a particular purpose or mechanical durability. Applicants are strongly advised to inspect the vehicle prior to submitting a bid.
Tender Submission: Offers must be submitted to the offices of So They Can Tanzania in a sealed envelope marked “Tender for Toyota RAV4 – T599 DNM” or sent via email to [email protected] no later than 26th October 2026 at 5:00 PM (17:00 EAT).
Payment Terms: The successful bidder must pay 100% of the agreed purchase price via bank transfer to So They Can Tanzania’s bank account within three (3) working days of receiving the award notification. The release and transfer of the vehicle will only occur after funds have fully cleared. The notification of award will be issued no later than 29th October 2026.
Taxes, Legal Fees, and Transfer Costs: The buyer shall bear all costs associated with the transfer of vehicle ownership, TRA taxes, transfer fees, and the issuance of a new registration card.
Vehicle Collection: The buyer must collect the vehicle from Babati within five (5) working days after full payment and completion of transfer documentation.
Right to Accept or Reject: So They Can Tanzania reserves the right to accept or reject any tender and is not bound to accept the highest offer.

Zero-Tolerance Policy on Fraud, Corruption, and Bribery

So They Can Tanzania operates under a zero-tolerance policy regarding bribery, corruption, fraud, collusion, extortion, and coercive practices. Any attempt by an applicant, their agent, or representative to offer, promise, or give any gift, bribe, commission, kickback, or financial inducement to any employee or representative of So They Can Tanzania will result in immediate disqualification of the tender.

Collusion between applicants to fix prices or manipulate the outcome of this tender process is strictly prohibited and will lead to automatic rejection and potential legal reporting. Any suspicion or evidence of fraudulent activities, false statements, or corrupt practices will result in the immediate termination of the sales agreement.
