THE UNITED AFRICAN UNIVERSITY OF TANZANIA (UAUT) is a fully accredited private university by the Tanzania Commission for Universities. The University is located in Kigamboni, Dar Es Salaam.

Lecturer (1 Position)

Qualifications:

Holder of a Ph.D. and a GPA of 3.5 (Upper Second Class) or above at the Bachelor’s degree level and 4.0 or above for the Master’s degree, majoring in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
At least 3 years of working experience in Higher Learning Institutions.
Teaching language proficiency.
Graduates are also encouraged to apply.
CPA will be an added advantage (Accounting major).

Duties:

Conduct lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practicals for undergraduate programs.
Carry out field supervision.
Mentor junior staff in all relevant academic matters.
Participate in curriculum development.
Develop and manage various university projects.
Undertake research and publish research results.
Undertake consultancy.
Prepare teaching manuals and compendia.
Supervise undergraduate students’ projects.
Attend/organize workshops, conferences, and seminars.
Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the management.

NB: Holders of foreign awards certificates must have the awards verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) before employment.
