Job Purpose

The Zonal Relationship Executive (Zanzibar) leads zone-level sales execution and builds a high-performing field sales structure for Alternative Channels products, including VodaBima Group Life Cover, Rafiki Group Life, and Group Funeral Cover across Unguja and Pemba. The role is responsible for recruiting and managing Unit Managers, driving field productivity, and achieving weekly and monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Prospect and close group sales, overseeing group onboarding and product activation across Zanzibar.

• Client Retention: Service existing corporate and group clients while securing timely policy renewals.

• Team Leadership & Recruitment: Recruit, train, and govern Unit Managers and field sales representatives to maintain strong sales productivity.

• Compliance & KYC: Ensure accurate KYC documentation and strict regulatory compliance for all onboarded clients.

• Reporting & Governance: Submit regular, disciplined performance and operational reports to the Zonal Relationship Officer (ZRO).

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field from a recognized institution.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 5 years of sales experience (field sales, agency management, banking, or microfinance background preferred).

• Certifications: Possession of a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in insurance is an added advantage.

• Core Competencies: Strong communication skills, high ethical standards, target-driven mindset, and team leadership capabilities.
