Required qualifications

Applicants should meet the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Degree in marketing, public relations, business administration, or any related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in corporate relations, running marketing campaigns, brand management, and sales.
  • Must be a Tanzanian.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Must have computer skills.
  • Must have a high level of discipline.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Good time-management skills.

Key responsibilities

The Marketing and Corporate Relations Manager will be responsible for the following duties:

Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by:

  • Assembling and analyzing sales forecasts.
  • Preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives.
  • Planning and organizing promotional presentations.
  • Updating calendars.
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
  • Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements for flyers, brochures, and other advertising materials.

Research competitors by identifying and evaluating:

  • Product and service characteristics.
  • Market share.
  • Pricing.
  • Marketing strategies.

Plan meetings and trade shows by:

  • Identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements.
  • Establishing contacts.
  • Developing schedules and assignments.
  • Coordinating mailing lists.
  • Set sales goals, analyze data, and develop training programs for the organization’s staff.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of the company’s relationship with existing customers.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
