Call for Applications: Supplier Prequalification (2026–2028)

The Tanganyika Law Society (TLS) invites qualified businesses, contractors, and service providers to apply for prequalification.

If approved, your business will join a 2-year approved supplier list. When TLS needs goods or services over the next two years, they will invite prequalified suppliers to bid for specific projects.

Please Note: Being prequalified does not guarantee a contract or financial payout.

Categories (Lots)

You can apply for one or multiple categories depending on your business:

• Lot 1: Office Stationery – Paper, pens, folders, printer ink/toner, envelopes, and general office supplies.

• Lot 2: IT & Office Equipment – Computers, laptops, printers, networking gear, and accessories.

• Lot 3: Printing & Branding – Reports, brochures, banners, business cards, and branded materials.

• Lot 4: Fuel Supply – Petrol and diesel for vehicles, generators, and equipment.

• Lot 5: Cleaning & Hygiene – Cleaning services, trash disposal, soap, toilet paper, and cleaning products.

• Lot 6: Repairs & Maintenance – Plumbing, electrical work, air conditioning, painting, and building repairs.

• Lot 7: Transport & Logistics – Vehicle hire, courier services, deliveries, freight, and newspaper supply.

• Lot 8: Events & Catering – Conference venues, catering, drinks, equipment rental, and accommodation.

• Lot 9: Travel & Air Ticketing – Local and international flight bookings, hotel reservations, and airport transfers.

• Lot 10: Advocate Stamps (Wakili Stamps) – Secure design, production, and supply of official advocate stamps.

• Lot 11: Professional Consultancy – Legal, audit, financial, HR, research, policy, and strategy consulting.

• Lot 12: IT & Software Services – Software development, hosting, cybersecurity, database, and tech support.

• Lot 13: Media & Communications – Photography, videography, graphic design, PR, and advertising.

• Lot 14: Security Services – Licensed security guards and related security support.

• Lot 15: Insurance Services – Insurance brokerage and coverage services.

• Lot 16: Construction & Renovation – Building works, office partitioning, and refurbishments.

• Lot 17: Advocates’ Robes & Bibs – Supply of high-quality official legal robes and bibs.

• Lot 18: Internal Audit Services – Independent internal auditing for TLS.

• Lot 19: Kitchen & Refreshments – Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bottled water, snacks, and dish soap.

• Lot 20: Flowers & Bouquets – Fresh flowers, custom bouquets, wreaths, and floral arrangements.

• Lot 21: Vehicle Maintenance – Car servicing, mechanical/electrical repairs, spare parts, and tires.

Required Application Documents

Provide copies of the following items with your application:

1. Application Letter: Signed, stating the Lot number(s) you are applying for and your contact details.

2. Business Registration: Certificate of Incorporation or Registration (with list of directors/owners).

3. Tax Documents: Valid TIN certificate and Tax Clearance.

4. VAT Certificate: If applicable to your business.

5. Business License: Valid license for the category you are applying for.

6. Company Profile: Overview of your company structure and services.

7. Past Experience: Proof of similar work done in the past 3 years.

8. References: Contact details of at least 3 recent clients.

9. Financial Capacity: Recent financial statements or a bank reference letter.

10. Technical Details: Information on your staff, equipment, or facility capacity.

11. Licenses & Permits: Any professional certifications required for your field.

12. Declaration Form: Disclosure of beneficial ownership and any conflicts of interest.

Note: TLS may perform background checks, site visits, or sample inspections to verify your documents.
