ANNOUNCEMENT FOR VOLUNTEER TEACHER POSITIONS IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS UNDER THE GPE – TSP PROJECT
TAMISEMI is the Swahili acronym for Ofisi ya Rais, Tawala za Mikoa na Serikali za Mitaa, which translates to “President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government” in English. It’s a government body in Tanzania responsible for overseeing regional administration and local government affairs. Essentially, it plays a crucial role in ensuring effective governance and service delivery at the local level.
The Office of the President – Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI) would like to inform applicants for volunteer teacher positions in Primary Schools who applied between 17th – 30th May,2025 that the names of applicants who met the criteria are available
In addition, teachers who met the criteria are required to report to the Directors of the Local Government Authorities (LGAs) in the schools they applied for from 18th to 31st August, 2025 for the purpose of filling out the Volunteer Teacher Employment Agreement with the Employer and to be provided with letters of assignment.

Teachers whose names are not in this advertisement should note that they did not get the position.
