Job Title: Stores keeper.

Job Location: Isaka, Shinyanga
Canuck Company Ltd is a company incorporated in Tanzania specialized in mining and processing activities. Canuck Co. Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Store Keeper who will oversee all inventory issues.
KEY: Managing inventory movements so as to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of company’s operations and enable the company attain a desired liquidity position.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Ascertain re-order levels for stock items and ensure the company is not running out of stock.
- Responsible for the petty cash disbursement in case the responsible party is on leave or out of Site.
Raising Purchase requisitions to for any item required. - Liaising with your immediate supervisor/Finance Manager in tracking of stock and purchases.
- Production of monthly reports relating to stock issues and stock levels to Management
- Management of subordinates to ensure proper and orderly arrangement of stock items in the stores and ensuring store surroundings are neat at all time.
- Respond timely to any other duties as assigned by an immediate supervisor/Finance Manager from time to time.
- Execute duties with highest degree of professionalism, integrity, trust and respect.
- Ensure proper management and distribution of PPEs to casuals and Contract employee in time of joining and leaving the Company.
- Daily checking of all operational documents to enhance accuracy.ie the store order, material requisition book and material issue out – returnable book etc.
- Ascertaining any loophole in the inventory management system and suggest the best practise to deter any loss that may arise thereof.
Required Education and Experience
- Successful candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in Accounts/Finance or related field with at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Previous accounting/Stores experience in a merchandising firm is desired
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Accuracy and attention to details
- Excellent leadership, Interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English and Swahili
- Excellent computer skills and experience in the use of any Accounting/Inventory management system, Tally System is a MUST.
