Taifa Gas Tanzania Limited (TAIFA GAS) started as Mihan Gas Company Limited (MIHAN GAS). The company was incorporated in the United Republic of Tanzania in 2005 with certificate of incorporation number 52508, as a limited company under the Companies Ordinance (Cap 212), The Company spent two years in its initial business startup investment in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and eventually commenced business in 2008. In 2017, the company was acquired by new shareholders and subsequently, in 2019, the company name changed from Mihan Gas Company Limited to Taifa Gas Company Limited to reflect company’s new Vision and Mission. Taifa Gas Tanzania Limited operates under Taifa Gas and Mihan Gas brands as observed through its LPG cylinders and other related equipment.
Taifa Gas has other 20 operating depots in Mwanza, Mbeya, Moshi, Dodoma, Singida, Morogoro, Iringa, Kahama, Kigoma, Songea, Njombe, Manyara, Bukoba, Geita, Tabora, Musoma, Arusha, Sumbawanga, Tanga and Shinyanga. Two depots Mwanga and Lindi are in final stages of construction.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a minimum of diploma in sales, accounts, procurements, statistics or any other related field
- Age limit is 24 – 28 years
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Must possess time management and organizational skills
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Able to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions
- Good interpersonal skills to work with management and staff at all levels
- Must be able to handle pressure
