About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our new station in Iringa as the Station In Charge. This is a key leadership role responsible for the overall management and success of the Iringa station, including sales, marketing, operations, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the Iringa station’s operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
 - Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve station revenue goals.
 - Manage and motivate a team of station staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
 - Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
 - Monitor station performance, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement.
 - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations.
 - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and local authorities.
 - Prepare and submit regular reports on station performance to management.  Manage station budget and resources effectively.
 
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience as a leader or manager, preferably in the [relevant industry, e.g., travel/tourism/airline] sector.
 - Demonstrated experience in sales, marketing, and reservations.
 - A minimum degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Qualifications (Assets):
- IATA Certificate.
 - Proficiency in booking and reservation systems such as Crane, Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
 - Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding assigned sales targets.
 - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
 - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
