Job Summary

Impala is seeking a qualified and proactive Security Supervisor to oversee physical security operations, static facility security, access control systems, vendor performance, and incident investigations across its operations in Dar es Salaam.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Static Facility & Asset Security: Oversee security service providers at warehouse facilities to ensure compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring CCTV systems, access control points, and perimeter security.

• Access Control Management: Manage and enforce strict access control protocols for personnel, vehicles, visitors, and inventory movement.

• Security Administration: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly security operational reports; respond promptly to email and phone inquiries.

• Investigations & Audits: Conduct incident investigations, route security surveys, and risk audits on security vendors and facilities.

• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate, monitor, and upgrade security strategies and threat mitigation measures.

• Training & Awareness: Deliver security awareness, prevention, and emergency response training sessions to relevant staff and personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma (Form IV / Form VI equivalent).

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in security supervision or facility security management.

• Background Advantage: Previous military or police background/training is highly advantageous.

• Licensing & IT Skills:

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Language & Communication: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Swahili.
