As part of our continued growth, we are looking for passionate and results-driven professionals to join our sales team and help expand the reach of the National Lottery across Tanzania.

About the Role

The Regional Sales Specialist will play a key role in driving sales growth and expanding the retail presence of National Lottery products across assigned regions. The role focuses on building strong relationships with retailers, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring optimal visibility and availability of lottery products in the market.

This position is ideal for a proactive and motivated sales professional who thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys building long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales performance across assigned retail outlets within the region.
  • Identify and recruit new retail partners to expand the National Lottery retail network.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and provide ongoing support to improve sales performance.
  • Ensure effective implementation of sales strategies and marketing campaigns at retail level.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor retailer performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure proper visibility and availability of lottery products at retail outlets.
  • Track sales activities using CRM systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Submit weekly reports highlighting sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide guidance and support to retailers to enhance customer experience and responsible gaming practices.
Requirements

Education

  • Minimum: Diploma in Sales and Marketing
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or Economics

Experience

  • Proven experience in a sales or new business development (“hunter”) role.
  • Experience in the FMCG or gaming industry will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
