Job Title: Plant Manager – Seeds & Cereal Processing

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the processing, cleaning, and packing operations of vegetables, maize seeds and cereals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven track record of managing production facilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day plant operations including seed/cereal processing, cleaning, grading, and packing.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high quality standards.
• Supervise and train plant staff to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety procedures.
• Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate timely maintenance.
• Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
• Prepare reports on production performance, inventory, and quality control.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Food Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in plant management, seed processing, or food production.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of seed/cereal quality standards and processing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
