Tanzania Empowerment Forum Limited (TEF Consult) is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading telecommunications company, for a results-driven and experienced Merchant Sales Supervisor.
This role is ideal for a sales professional with strong leadership, relationship management, and merchant acquisition experience, particularly within fintech, digital payments, or mobile money services.

About the Role

The Merchant Sales Supervisor will be responsible for driving the acquisition, retention, and performance of formal merchants and enterprise clients within an assigned region. The role requires strategic thinking, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proven ability to manage high-value merchant portfolios.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Acquiring and onboarding formal merchants and enterprise clients
• Managing and growing merchant portfolios
• Strengthening merchant relationships and resolving escalations
• Supporting branding and visibility initiatives
• Preparing and presenting performance reports to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in sales supervision, merchant acquisition, or digital payments
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
