The Commissioner General of the Prison Service announces to the youth listed below as being selected to join the Army of Prisons for the financial year 2023/24. These guys are needed to attend training for prison officers at the College of Prisons Kiwira, located in Rungwe District, Mbeya Region and they are requiredto report to the college on 07/06/2024 without fail. Anyone whoever is late to report on the said date will have lost it
that position and removed from the list of training students that. Young people with Fourth Form education selected, report in the Offices of the Regional Heads of Prisons when they interviewed those those who interviewed through the Headquarters of Prisons should report in Offices of the Heads of Prisons in the nearby regions so that they can get directions for travel requirements and arrangements.

The Prison Service when it was established was called the Prison Department where its activities remained the colonial ones of torture of prisoners and hard work regardless of whether it is beneficial for them or for the Nation. The 1990s established its vision and responsibility according to the principles and standards set by the National and International.
