Food vendors (Mama Lishe and Baba Lishe) in the Upanga and Muhimbili areas of Dar es Salaam have expressed their gratitude to Meridianbet for providing them with sanitation equipment (dustbins), aimed at enhancing cleanliness in their business areas and encouraging environmental conservation.

Speaking upon receiving the donation, the vendors explained that the equipment will play a significant role in ensuring that waste generated during their daily operations is collected and disposed of in designated places. They noted that a clean environment is vital for their businesses, especially since they are involved in selling food and serving members of the public every day.

They added that the support has motivated them to continue prioritizing cleanliness in their work areas, while urging other business owners to be part of the efforts to protect public health and improve the surrounding environment.

Meanwhile, Meridianbet continues to offer various betting services through its website, including online casino games and international matches with competitive odds. Customers can join via the Meridianbet website or by dialing *149*10# and following the instructions.

Furthermore, the food vendors commended local community leaders for collaborating with Meridianbet to make the initiative a success. They stated that cooperation between the private sector and community leaders is essential in solving challenges facing citizens, including environmental sanitation.

Likewise, they thanked Meridianbet, along with Nancy Ingram and the entire company team, for continuing to demonstrate care for community needs through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. They described the donation as a sign of productive partnership between the company and the community, expressing their hope that these efforts will continue so that other community groups can also benefit.

On their part, the food vendors pledged to use the equipment for its intended purpose, maintain clean business environments, and ensure waste is properly collected and disposed of in the provided dustbins. They also encouraged fellow business owners and the general public to continue maintaining environmental cleanliness for the benefit of the entire community.

This initiative is part of Meridianbet’s contribution toward supporting community efforts to improve the environment and foster a culture of cleanliness across various areas in Dar es Salaam.
