Position Overview
The Lab Technician is responsible for carrying out chemical analyses, quality assurance testing, and process control checks within the manufacturing plant. The role focuses specifically on testing materials for color coating and metal coating lines, ensuring raw inputs and finished outputs meet organizational and industry specifications.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Quality Control & Testing: Perform accurate chemical and physical testing on raw materials, pigments, coatings, and finished metal products.

Coating Line Quality Assurance: Monitor and analyze chemical properties specifically related to color coating and metal coating production lines.

Lab Protocol Compliance: Enforce standard operating procedures for chemical handling, laboratory safety, and testing calibration.

Data Documentation: Maintain logs of sample test results, log quality deviations, and prepare technical quality control reports for plant management.

Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and chemical testing apparatus to ensure ongoing precision.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Laboratory Science, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience within a manufacturing environment.

Specialized Expertise: Direct experience working with color coating and metal coating lines is required.

Competencies: Strong command of chemical laboratory testing methodologies, precision data logging, quality control tools, and attention to detail.
