Description
JOB TITLE
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME
KSH 30,000- 40,000
JOB LOCATION: INDUSTRIAL AREA
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and maintain budget reports and forecasts
Maintain expenses database, determine fixed costs and analyse profit margins.
Monitor cost variances and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
Make estimates of new and product costs.
Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure
Handling inventory accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.
Performing month-end closing activities and ensuring financial accounting related to revenue and costing is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Accounting & CPA 3
Over 3 years experience working in a busy environment with prior experience as a Cost Accountant in a busy manufacturing company
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Analytical, problem solving, planning and prioritizing skills
