Key Responsibilities:

45% Receive and dispatch of food commodities as per approvals while adhering to food handling standards

End Results

Food handling standards are adhered to.

30% Ensure timely documentation/updating of all transactions into relevant EDP documents

End Results

Documents updated timely and accurately

5% Ensure thorough cleanliness of the assigned store

End Results

Acceptable hygienic level prevails at EDP

10% Undertake daily reconciliation

End Results

Daily reconciliation done

5% Compile quality periodical reports timely

End Results

Quality reports produced and shared timely

5% Participate into monthly Physical Inventory exercise

End Results

PI produced timely

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

Required Professional Experience

  • One-year experience in working with humanitarian operations,
  • Experience in handling commodities management
  • Experience in working with refugee programs

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

  • Training in commodities management, response trainings.

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Degree in Accountant or Procurement
  • Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
  • Refugee camps
  • Physical Requirements
  • Should be physically fit

Language Requirements

English and Swahili
