UDA Rapid Transit Plc (UDART) is a company incorporated in the United Republic of Tanzania under the Companies Act, Cap. 212 R.E. 2019 on 19 December 2014 with Certificate of Incorporation No. 113954. UDART is the Interim Bus Operator for Phase I of the Dar es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (DART) System.

UDART Plc invites applications from suitably qualified and competent Tanzanian citizens to fill the following vacant positions:

Internal Auditor II (1 Post)

Direct Entry Qualifications

• Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Auditing, Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, or
• Business Administration majoring in Accountancy or Finance, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Applicants must possess CPA (T), ACCA, or any other professional qualification recognized by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyse preliminary internal audit reports and recommendations.
• Supervise the preparation of the annual internal audit plan.
• Monitor and evaluate internal control systems, risk management, and corporate governance processes.
• Conduct audits of development projects.
• Coordinate normal, special, technical audits, and investigations.
• Prepare internal audit reports.
• Review management responses and verify implementation of recommendations.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow-up actions.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Salary Scale: UDARTSS 13
