Vacancy Details: Health Volunteer – Assistant Nursing Officer (5 Posts)
To strengthen its nursing department, CCBRT is seeking dynamic and experienced Assistant Nursing Officers (Health Volunteers) to provide clinical nursing care in designated areas such as Outpatient Department (OPD), Inpatient Department (IPD), or Operating Theatre Department (OTD).

Role Responsibilities
As an Assistant Nursing Officer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing nursing care in accordance with quality, safety regulations, and standards, while maintaining patient dignity at all times.
- Ensuring all necessary preparations are completed before the patient sees the doctor or enters consulting rooms/theatre.
- Assisting doctors during patient examinations and/or surgeries.
- Translating information between patients and doctors from Kiswahili to English and vice versa in case of language barriers.
- Communicating sensitive information regarding patients’ medical conditions and counseling patients.
- Performing clinical procedures and ensuring proper recordkeeping for all activities.
- Controlling patient flow in the clinical area.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma in general nursing and midwifery.
- Must be registered and have a valid license from the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Good communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Flexible, multitasking, proactive, and eager to learn.
