Job Position: Factory Accountant  (Iringa Mafinga

Job Description

• Manage Financial Records – Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Monitor Production Costs – Track and analyze production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
• Prepare Financial Reports – Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management.
• Budgeting and Forecasting – Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and cost estimates.
• Tax Compliance – Ensure compliance with local tax laws, including VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory requirements.
• Inventory Accounting – Monitor and reconcile inventory levels, ensuring accurate valuation of stock.
• Payroll Processing – Manage payroll calculations and ensure accurate salary disbursements.
• Internal Controls – Implement and maintain internal financial controls to prevent fraud and errors.
• Financial Audits – Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Use Accounting Software – Proficiently use accounting software, such as QuickBooks or ERP systems, to manage financial data.

Job Requirements

• Familiar with local tax laws
• Proficient in using office software
• Skilled in using QuickBooks software

Salary: 300,000-1,000,000 TZS
