About TANROADS

The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is tasked with maintaining and developing the trunk and regional roads network in Tanzania Mainland, alongside conducting axle load control operations. On behalf of the Chief Executive, the Regional Manager of TANROADS Dodoma is recruiting qualified Tanzanian candidates for the road project: Upgrading of Kongwa Jct – Ngambi – Mpwapwa (32.0Km), LOT I: Kongwa Jct – Ngambi – Mpwapwa (32.0Km) Contract No. TRD/HQ/1033/2023/24.

Direct Entry Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

• Professional Registration: Must be registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a Graduate Engineer.

• Location Commitment: Must be ready to work for considerable lengths of time in the Dodoma region where the project is located.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing structural drawings and reports for conformity to applicable standards and technical specifications.

• Inspect, review, and approve materials and completed structural/drainage works to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

• Prepare daily mini-progress reports, including updated cost tracking for drainage works.

• Maintain a daily site diary using the content and format approved by the Employer.

• Execute any other related project tasks assigned by the supervisor.
