main activities of the Company are to explore, search, exploit, develop, mine, process, treat, refine
prepare for market, transport, market or otherwise deal in gold, gold ores, minerals and all sorts of
substances found in, above or below the ground and to acquire dealers’ rights, exploration and

The company wishes to recruit an enthusiastic, self-driven candidates for the following position:

Position: Electrical Technician;

REF: SUT/ET/6/2024-2

Job Location: Kahama

A technician at this cadre will be required to creating, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment. A critical element in this role is calibrating instruments to adapt to the specific needs of a job.

The duties of the Electrical Technician are:

• Supporting on assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic components and systems.
• Sourcing or fabricating replacement parts for electronic systems.
• Supporting Electronic engineer to ensuring all power and manual tools are operated in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in Perform maintenance on electrical systems and backup systems, as well as various electricity-powered machinery and equipment on the company sites.
•  Assist on test electronics, by performing regular tests to new and existing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, both to spot potential problems and to ensure that systems are operating at their highest possible levels of functionality
• Supporting on repairing and replacing wiring and equipment using hand and power tools
• Recommend changes or upgrades to electrical systems to increase productivity and functionality
• Conduct regular check on electrical equipment
• Executes installation, testing, maintenance and servicing of Motors, LV/MV Switchgears, Batteries, Transformers, Cables etc
•  Implements the safety procedures & Housekeeping within work area
• Ensures proper upkeep of his tools
• Maintains records on equipment maintenance and system checkup.
• Performs maintenance activity as per maintenance notifications / work orders.

The candidate should possess the following qualifications and Experiences:

• At least two (2) years relevant work experience in a comparable organization;
• Diploma or certificate in Electrical /Electronic (Power) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Working knowledge of computer applications.
• Communication skills.
•  Fulfilled the requirements of Leadership and integrity
