DRIVER TO THE MANAGING DIRECTOR (MD)

Job Title: Driver to the Managing Director
Location: Dar es Salaam.

1. Safely and punctually drive the Managing Director to official and personal engagements as scheduled.
2. Ensure the MD’s vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and serviced regularly.
3. Monitor and ensure the validity of the vehicle’s insurance, license, and service schedule.
4. Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
5. Maintain confidentiality regarding the MD’s movements and communications.
6. Provide minor office support to the MD when required.
7. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness.
8. Promptly report any mechanical issues or incidents to the management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• • Valid driving license (Class C or above).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving for senior executives or in a corporate setting.
  • High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and discretion.
  • Good knowledge of traffic laws and basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both Swahili and English is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and outside normal working schedules when necessary.

• Must have basic Knowledge of Mechanics.
• Must have a form four certificate or above.
