Farming and Engineering Services Limited (FES), a leading supplier and operator of premium brand products including Massey Ferguson and Challenger tractors, Komatsu machinery, Trimble GPS equipment, and Baldan farm implements has immediate vacancies for Diesel Technicians to be based at its office at Kilombero, Tanzania. 

Diesel Technicians (3 Posts) at Farming and Engineering Services Limited (FES)

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Drivers’ License.
• Minimum of diploma in Auto Agricultural Mechanics or related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic is required
• Good communications skills 
• Team worker and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing all types of mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment 
• Repairing and inspecting all mechanical machinery as per schedule and instruction from workshop manager
• Ensuring that policies and procedures are applied as per FES standards
• Achieving team and individual goals that are set out in accordance with the FES system
• Following specific methodologies in repair work to ensure availability and reliability of the machinery
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Knowledge and experience in planning of service schedules of large fleets of tractors and heavy plant.

• Good planning and activity scheduling skills, technical skills and a hands on approach.
• Ability to work effectively with people of different cultural backgrounds.
• Must be self motivated and be results driven.
• Capability to work under strict deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Team player.
• Ability to develop long term customer relationships.
