Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit customs declarations through the relevant customs systems.
- Verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and permits before declaration.
- Ensure compliance with customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Coordinate with customs officials regarding cargo clearance.
- Monitor declaration status and resolve any issues affecting cargo clearance.
- Maintain accurate records of declarations and supporting documents.
- Liaise with clients regarding customs requirements and documentation.
- Ensure timely clearance of cargo to avoid unnecessary delays and penalties.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Knowledge of customs procedures and declaration systems.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
